Brady Quinn will be the first pick in the draft. Oakland needs a lot of help on offense but a franchise quarterback is not something you can come by via Free Agency (except in rare exceptions) and you can't expect to draft in the top 5 every year so you have to get the most of that pick when you have it. Good RB's are always available later in the draft and they won't take an Offensive lineman after the debacle that is Robert Gallery. Unless they trade down, this is almost a given.

WIth the Raiders getting the pick I think they can go a bunch of places to improve (quarterback, runningback, both lines, defensive back) but since a qb touches the ball every down i'll go with them picking brady quinn. That will be unless jamarcus russell really impresses at combine workouts/ Sugar Bowl or adrian peterson's stock rises tremendously. They won't take an offensive lineman because of what happened with Robert Gallery. If they lose mossand gabriel(or a combination) calvin johnson is also a possibility. If they take a WR i can guarantee the Lions will take the other.

I'd say it's Quinn or Peterson from Oklahoma. \ If Jarrett comes out I think his forty yard dash time will determine where he gets drafted. If he runs a sub 4.35 forty I think he will go top 10 somehere, if he does'nt look for him to be in the teens. If I were the Raiders I would take Peterson because you have already wasted a year developing Walters so you might as well give him another year. I also think the QB from Hawaii might be the best quarterback available, but we will see. I take that back Jamarcus looked good and would be a good pick to, but I still go Peterson with the Raiders and hope a good quarterback good be had with the 2nd round pick.

Raiders simply need a QB. Obviously Aaron Brooks and Andrew Walter didn't work out. Brady Quinn is probably the number 1 pick. With 35 touchdowns and 5 INT's, he has a true nfl build. To learn Charlie Weiss' offense is a tough feat. The Raiders might also consider Jamarcus Russel (LSU) if he declares.

Welcome to being a college soccer fan, i anticipate you're new to the ranks. Lesson quantity a million: college QB stats advise next to 0 whilst projecting him to the NFL. the conventional college protection is particularly slow and not that stable. those days an offensive scheme noted as the unfold has been carried out to take great thing approximately this. unfold offenses positioned the QB back in the shotgun with 4+ receivers unfold out huge. the belief is that defenses won't have the fee or selection to continuously be waiting to cover all those receivers. those offenses are predicated on short-mid selection intense proportion passes and downfield blocking off to coach short passes into significant beneficial properties. It does take a easy volume of accuracy to be a QB in a selection equipment, even nonetheless it does not require NFL high quality arm power, selection making or length to prevail. From the little that i've got seen of Keenum i think of that he's greater efficient than the final bunch of prototype unfold QBs like Graham Harrell and Chase Daniel, in that he has greater efficient zip and extremely astounding accuracy, yet he needs to fill his physique out and that i haven't seen him continuously make puzzling throws into insurance. Locker on the different hand has the strategies that NFL scouts love, yet performs in a greater annoying offense with much less skills in a greater aggressive convention, so he would not have the attractive stats.

Either Calvin Johnson or Brady Quinn...in regards to Brady Quinn, I don't think the raiders will pick him for two reasons...one the raiders have enough QB's already and two....if brady quinn doesn't want to play for them, hopefully al davis isn't as much of a jack *** to waste a #1 overall pick! So that leave Calvin Johnson. Even though I know it won't happen, i'm still rootin for Marshawn Lynch (Go Bears)!

Brady Quinn, whether it's the raiders, lions or brown, somebody is gonna get him at the 1st overall pick. The most polished passer to come out of the draft since Carson.

Raiders dont need a QB, they spent a high draft pick on Andrew Walter.
I believe they'll go for a Calvin Johnson. Al Davis loves to see his teams air it out, and Calvin Johnson across from randy moss, with ronald curry as a #3... thats pretty lethal.
