This morning, I had a dream that I was in Scott Town, and some bullies were planning to have a fight. Two rival gangs were warring against each other. They had decided that they were going to have a show down right in front of the church. All of our church kids were outside. Then the gangs started to assemble to have war; some had red bats in their hands. They all were chanting their goal to kill the other side, and then they started to thrust rocks. Some innocent people who were just trying to get away, got hit with the rocks. Some of the kids fell on the ground because they had gotten hit in the temple with big rocks, and some small ones too. Our children (Pentecostal) were all outside; we ran inside, and a few kids from the outside too. The church looked different. The balcony went all around the church. To climb up the stair, you had to enter from the back. There was a huge lifting staircase in the middle of the church; the roof was much bigger…like it had been rebuilt all around. They were scared, and I was trying to keep the kids from being scared. The rocks started to hit the church, we were all on the floor. I begin to demand that the kids be quiet and listen to me. They were all scared. They heard me screaming (some how over all the noise) be quiet, and they calmed down only a little and listened to what I told them. I told some to go up the balcony, because we needed to go higher, higher so that the rocks wouldn’t hit us. The kids begin to cry and run up the stairs. When the balcony was full, every one else got on a winding staircase in the middle of the room. Vet made the staircase move, she pressed a button, and it started…she also pulled something down. As I looked around, I could see Cortney on the balcony. I told the kids not to move. The staircase winded all the way to the roof, and I could see that we were only about two inches from touching the roof. I don’t know if the roof actually opened up, but in the dream something indicated that it did. We all just either stood on the balcony, or the staircase, until the war was done. We could see the rocks damage our church. A big rock hit the church’s window. The kids jumped. As I looked over at Cortney, she had a look of concern on her face. I didn’t say nothing. That’s the way the dream ended, with every child in the air, some crying, some just scared, rocks being thrown in the church, and us either on the balcony, or the stairs…from there I woke up.
