It depends on your rabbit. If your rabbit has a sensitive stomach, then it's not a good idea.
My vet recommended a teaspoon of plain yogurt (without any sugar), as a treat, because it's good for their stomach, but too much can cause diarrhea.
I have two rabbits, and one of them likes it, but the other doesn't. So, I give one of them one teaspoon of plain yogurt when I eat plain yogurt for breakfast, which is probably once a week. However, I find that they both prefer freshly squeezed apple juice better than yogurt, to say the truth!
If you don't want to give yogurt to your bunny, but still want to give them something that's good for their stomach, how about giving them an acidophilus tablets, that are sold at vitamin stores?
You can also give them fresh pineapple juice (squeezed from actual pineapple) or papaya, to prevent hairballs. However, don't give them too much--only as a treat.

You should give your rabbit hay.But with everything you feed it should be fed a little everyday and gradually encreesd. If its a larger rabbit you can feed it bread but only a little for the smaller breeds.Rabbits also love dandelions (and its good for them) but will eat grass too. Also when your looking for rabbit info you should go to rabbit shows because alot of the experienced people go.

A friend of mine raises show rabbits . . . apparently you can buy "yogurt chips" at most good pet stores. The most I've seen her give any one rabbit at one time is three chips (about the size of a dime), but she only gives them to the rabbits when she has them out and they do something good, like coming to her when she calls ^_^

Rabbits have a very specialized, complicated digestive system, involving countless bacteria and protists in perfect balance. The whole thing is designed to eat just one food: grass. Grass is all rabbits need to eat, unless they're breeding back-to-back litters or something similarly strenuous. Adult rabbits never get dairy in the wild, so they're not built to take it. It won't kill your rabbit to get a tiny bit of human food, but he or she really doesn't need anything but pellets and hay.
Pineapple juice (fresh) is useful to help prevent hairballs, but since it has sugar, use moderation. Yogurt drop treats are full of sugar.
Don't feed your rabbits dairy, sugar, or nuts: they don't need it. But for treats, they always love fresh greens. I think it's the texture that attracts them, for the same reason my pellet-fed meat rabbits would jump on a handful of hay. Not all greens are safe for rabbits, so do your research before you feed them anything. Small amounts of Romaine lettuce are okay. So is the cilantro-parsley family. They love carrot greens.
Here is a list of rabbit-safe veggies.

Yogurt is NOT recommended for rabbits. They do not digest dairy well.

As far as "cats can eat it, and rabbits are mammals too, so they should be able to", that's just ridiculous logic. People are mammals and so are wolves, but if people eat raw meat they'll get sick.

No, don't give rabbits yogurt. Their digestive system isn't cut out to handle it. When one of our rabbits had a stomach problem, we asked the vet and he said "no."

My vet told me to give my cat a spoonful of unflavored yogurt. Sense both cats a rabbits are mammals I think it would be fine to give your rabbit a spoonful ever now and then.

No, no, no, no, no.
Rabbits should be fed a diet of pellets based on their weight with hay supplements.
