Dee and ShouldBeW are wrong -- it is North Station, not South Station where your particular Amtrak comes in (if you take it -- does it stop in Exeter? I know it stops in Durham and Dover but am not sure about Exeter). Then you can take the Orange line one stop or the Green line 2 stops but it is only a 5-7 minute walk to Fanueil Hall so save your money.

Hank is on target: the Downeaster from Portland ME is the only Amtrak line that terminates in North Station. Everything else is in South Station.

Take the walk from North Station (under the TD Banknorth Garden) to Faneuil Hall.

Well Amtrak does not go to Fanueil Hall. You'd need to take the Amtrak in to South Station in Boston, and then switch trains to the Governement Center stop on the MBTA, and walk to Fanueil from there, which is just across the street. (At South Station get on the MBTA Red Line, and then switch to the Green Line, which will take you to Government Center)

You can't take Amtrak to Faneuil Hall. You can take Amtrak to South Station in Boston and from there, you can take the green or orange subway train lines to Haymarket, which is the closest stop to Faneuil Hall, otherwise known as Quincy Market.

Last stop in Boston on the Amtrak. Look at the mbta.com site for trains from there. You can actually walk from there.
