If the New York Giants and the New York Jets were to faceoff in Super Bowl XLI, it would be the first time two teams that play each other is the same stadium play for a championship.

As a Raven fan, the Jets are one of the teams that really scare me, along with New England. They have a legitimate shot at winning the AFC, unlike some teams that the media loves (San Diego and Indy).

I wouldn't be too shocked to see the Giants win the NFC. After all, it is wide open, and the Giants were the best team in the NFL for the first half of the season before the Ravens were the dominant team of the second half. If they're able to turn back the clock before their near implosion, they could do what the White Sox and Cardinals did in baseball (considering that the Red Sox, White Sox, and Cardinals have won the last 3 series, somebody up there must really hate the Cubs)

I don't think it will happen, but it is a possibility. The Jets haven't been in the Super Bowl since the days of Broadway Joe's guarantee and no 8-8 team has ever made it to even their conference championship, but if a 6 seed can upset a 1 seed last year, history could be made this year. There's maybe a 10% chance this happens, but were it to happen, New York would win its first championship since the Yankees 3-peat. Is it going to happen? Probably not, because it appears that all New York sports teams are cursed (as Philadelphia teams are as well), but quite possibly. Maybe the Giants or Jets can break this "Curse of the Boss's Pocketbook." I doubt it, but maybe.

Same way I reacted when Pittsburgh went to the Superbowl, I wouldn't watch it.

A more realistic matchup is San Diego vs Chicago.

Although I think Philadelphia could be a sleeper! For the record, I am a Bucs fan. Watch out for New Orleans too, if they win then all sports are fixed. That would be payback for the hurricane hitting New Orleans. They can't possibly win it on talent alone.

The only time I won't like the Jets is when they play the Giants. I rooted for the Jets this past Thursday. I think the better question is how do Jets fans feel about the Bills and how do bills fans feel about the Jets.

I'd probably yawn and fall asleep during the game. Why would two pathetic teams like that be in the Super Bowl? If they were wouldn't it be a battle between two average teams, and not a REAL "Super" Bowl?

yea, i don't think that'll happen ( no offence) the cowboys n the chargers r gonna probably face of in the superbowl, (even tho i'm not a big fan of each. but if the NY teams faced off i think the giants wud take it all.... but then again i'd b suprised that the jets made it there in the 1st place

I would know I was in some kind of alternate reality where bad teams won and good teams were called "loosers" and things like the super bowl were meant to determine which teams were the worst.

Ummm, this will be read in my best Eeyore voice....

"woo hoo, big deal"

Both of those teams SUCK anyway - so it's not going to happen.

Jets lose to Pats - Giants to Eagles, and it's all over.

This year, SB is San Diego and New Orleans. Much more interesting that way, anyway.

Shock. Disbelief. Dissinterest. And by the way, since they're both New York teams, why do they play in New Jersey?
