Bite the bullet and pay for a new radiator.

The radiator you are using is hopelessly clogged.. if it is flowing it is not flowing good enough.

Check cylinder pressures to make sure you have not blowed a head gasket already..

Is your "mechanik" advising you to replace all these parts, or was it your idea ?? NEVER replace ANY part till you know the problem. OK?? Lesson learned. Let's see now, our resident "mechaniks" ?? have GUESSED radiator cap, head gasket, quad 4"s are known for head gasket failure, "plastic" ?? intake manifold leaks. No answers here. Now let's look at problem, ok?? Never waste your money on radiator flush. It is entirely useless. Your temp. gauge says hot, the radiator cap has opened (works, no need to replace) and let coolant flow to reservoir. All is ok so far. Now for the symptom that solves the problem ~~ Can anyone GUESS what it is ?? The only thing that hasn't been mentioned. In every overheat post I have read this item is overlooked by the experts ? out there. Thermostat, temp. sensor, water pump, hoses, heatercore ?? etc. You said the temp. gage was reading hot but the engine didn't feel hot. That is the for sure problem. The engine cannot feel hot because the coolant is not circulating. Take your car, or the radiator, to a radiator shop, not a car repair and have it cleaned. Guaranteed problem solved

REMOVE YOUR RADIATOR CAP AND TAKE IT SOMEWHERE TO HAVE IT PRESSURE CHECKED...AUTOZONE WILL DO IT FOR FREE...YOUR RADIATOR CAP HAS A CHECK VALVE THAT MUST RELEASE AT A CERTAIN PRESSURE...USUALLY AROUND 16PSI...I HAVE SEEN CASES WHERE THE CAP IS FAULTY AND ALLOWS THE PRESSURE IN YOUR COOLANT SYSTEM TO BUILD UP TOO HIGH...I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF IT IS OVERFLOWING WHILE THE CAR IS RUNNING OR WHEN YOU SHUT THE CAR OFF...UNDER NORMAL CONDITIONS AS YOUR COOLANT COOLS DOWN IT CREATES A VACUUM AND DRAWS EXCESS COOLANT INTO YOUR OVERFLOW TANK...IF TOO MUCH PRESSURE IS BUILDING UP IN YOUR COOLANT SYSTEM, THEN IT IS POSSIBLE THAT TOO MUCH VACUUM IS BEING CREATED AND DRAWING TOO MUCH COOLANT BACK INTO THE TANK AND CAUSING IT TO OVERFLOW...A FAULTY RADIATOR CAP CAN CAUSE LOTS OF PROBLEMS AND ALSO LEAD TO VERY EXPENSIVE HEAD GASKET REPAIRS...HAVE YOUR CAP CHECKED AND IF THAT DOESN'T SOLVE YOUR PROBLEM,HAVE YOUR ENTIRE COOLANT SYSTEM PRESSURE CHECKED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE TO AVOID OTHER ISSUES DOWN THE LINE.

I had a 1999 ford ranger doing the same thing and i did all the things you listed and none of them helped. It ended up being a blown head gasket, about $500 dollars, this is most likey the problem.

G.M. is bad for using plastic intake manifolds which warp over time.Causing coolant to leak into cylinders, and compression pushing coolant out causing car to run hot. If it were me,I'd find after market aluminum intake manifold.
