nope. you screw up already. That D has screwed you up. I have only A and B, Ill send you an email if I got accepted. I doubt it. I have all together 14 B's rest all A's. I took 9 AP classes. I took 11 Ap exams passing 8 exams(AP French 4, AP Spanish 3 , AP Spanish lit. 3, AP calculus 3, AP chem 5, AP Biology 5, AP physics 4, AP US history 3, AP world History 3,) President of two clubs French and European. I worked one year as a freshman in a restaurant as busboy and pantry chef(3months). I went to Long Beach city college to take Spanish 3 and Intermediate Algebra 1-2. I took German 7-8 getting 2 B's. I am in the advanced Jazz Band playing the piano. Im on the Tennis team. I was a teacher's aide for one semster. I volunteered 150 hours. I did 50 hours of community service. I got many awards. SAT scores low(1630) with ACT composite (23). I doubt that I will be accepted maybe like 10% chance. Im not even sure if ill be accepted to UCLA or UC Berkeley. Ill send you an email later on. But beware you will be applying for Stanford in 3 years. They are going to want even more that this year. Be readu and be prepared. Good luck kid.

D's in math wouldn't impress Stanford a whole lot if you're looking to have a math-related career (same goes for the English grade). However, as you're a freshman you have a lot of time to improve. Colleges look at grade trends, not just grades. An upward trend would be a good thing. Visit the college confidential website if you want. Kids post questions like this all the time under the "chances" thread.

no never. It's because of both the c and the d. even uc's don't take c's (rarely). and summer school won't make a difference. try to do really good in sports, as in best in the state at something, or alot alot alot of community sevice hours. then maybe you'll get in, but now, grades won't help you, oh and get straight a's from now on. stanford has only a 9% acceptance rate and the people who get in have 700 or higher SAT scores as an average.

by the way, what school do you go to and where? you're very smart for a freshman

This is actually a really really easy question to answer! When you go for your interview, just give your interviewer a ********! Problem solved! Good luck with everything. I am in the same boat. P.S. The SAT II French exam kicked my ***. I had 5 years of high school french and only got a 540. Ouch! The SAT II for English Lit. is actually a lot easier. I only studied for about 5 hours total and got a 720. One more thing, you really did screw yourself by not taking AP classes. They really do carry a lot of weight with college admissions teams. Sorry about that one....

what grade are you in? if you're a freshman or soph then probably if you improved junior and sr. year, then you ccould get in..... it also depends on how well rounded you are, and what your SAT scores are
