First of all, dont worry. You have made a Dr's appt, so you are making good decisions and you will soon know.
There are alot of different factors that can contribute to not getting your period. Sports, stress, ovarian cysts, poor diet, etc. The possibilities are endless, and most of them are easily fixed so dont get too worked up.
Yes, you can have a Pap smear even if you are a virgin.
What will happen is you will go in and the Dr will ask you some questions, like when your last period was, your sexual activity and then she will give you an internal exam. The best advice is to breath deeply during it and keep yourself as relaxed as possible, it will make the exam go much more smoothly. I can remember my first few times going for check-ups and I know that it will be hard to relax, but do your best. After your internal, you will get a breast exam to check for lumps and then it will be over.
Some tips, bring a magazine into the room with you, it will help while you have to wait in the paper gown. Wear socks, I know I am seriously self conscious about feet and I find wearing socks eases this (the last thing you will need to worry about is your feet), shave your legs and your arm pits (when she does the breast exam she will feel your armpits because your lymph nodes are under there). Also, shower as close to your appt as possible just to be as fresh as possible.
Everything will be ok, honestly, making the appt is the hardest part.
Good luck!

First of all calm down, good to know your not pregnant, good that your still a virgin, go you!!! stress can stop your period, have you been stressed out alot?....that could be it, also at the Gyno yes, they can give you a pap smear even though your a virgin and that may help figure out the problem, I'm sure it's nothing life threatening or scarey, so stay calm till your appointment....

You should be fine, and just tell the doctor that you are a virgin and so they will be gentle. You may not even need a pap smear, but your doctor can better advise you of that.
If you are getting your period dont worry about it. If you are athletic, that can cause you to miss periods, also stress, weight gain or even weight loss. There are many factors.

if your still young it probably isn't anything to worry about! you are being very sensible in going to a gyno. Im not going to lie these kind of things arnt fun but almost every woman has these kinds of tests which although unpleasent really aren't that bad. I'm not a doctor or nurse so i can't tell you what will happen exactly, they may tell you that you don't need to have any tests done and to come back if you don't get a period soon, but worst thing they are likely to do is a swab test, which really isn't that bad and will be over in 5mins! hope all goes well! x

Go see a doctor and/or a gyno. It will help alot...have you told your parents? (if you still live with them) If something is wrong then the doctors will take care of you. Be strong work through it!
