Yes. Sometimes people will pass gas without making a sound and the next thing you know, peoples are running and covering their nose and mouth to escape the awful smell. It won't really kill you (at least I've never heard of it happening), but it might as well be. The smell of silent 'gaseous discharge' is usually unbareable.

especially my cats...they are all silent but dead dead deadly and I really love it (not) when they get near my head when I am asleep and do that...somebody get me a gas mask!

I've died thousands of deaths by sharing airspace with my husband. LOL
