This song has a really different tuning.....DGCFAD. Can I place a capo on my guitar so I dont have to re-tune it just for this song? If I can use a capo, what fret would it go on?

Not for what you want to do. Since the song is a whole step lower than standard tuning you can only achieve the desired effect by tuning your guitar down. In this case, since you don't want to change the key the song is played in, the capo would only be effective in rasing the key of the song which is not what you want.

not that terribly different; they want you to tune every string down a step. Sorry, a capo won't help you here. You could probably play it in regular tuning, it will just be a step higher.

That's a detuned tuning (each string is tuned down one whole note) so a capo wouldn't be used to achieve this tuning.

Buy a electronic tuner; re tune it

Nope, you have to retune.
