Why is it that when rich tv broadcasters make predictions, the religous people sucked into their programs believe them 100%, but when a normal, everyday person or someone claiming to be a psychic says they have had some sort of vision or has spoken with God their labled a psycho, skitzo, pagan, witch, satanist, etc.?
How come Pat Robertson can have a converstation with God and it's ok, but if I or anyone else were to say, "God told me of great disasters to come to the US this year." we would get locked up in the loony ben?
Also, why is Pat Robertson able to say this and not be called a blasphemer because he is now calling himself a prophet? Christains look down upon psychics, but isn't this just the same? Most Christains think Nostradamus is a nut job because of his book of predictions, but isn't the Bible along the same lines? Nostradamus seems to have been right at least 50% of the time, but any prophet or psychic can be right 50% of the time... as most are.

believe there are people who see or predict things, but I do not think any one person is held so high that they alone can speak to God and get an audiable or visual answer back. Am I not worthy enough? Are you?
Although I am a sinner, I was raised a Christain and I do very much believe in God and respect all religions. All I can say is that if he is wrong, remember, "Beware of false prophets. They come to you disguised as sheep, but in their hearts they are vicious wolves." Matthew 7:15
