My recipe for success is:

1. clearly understand the game that I am currently playing, as well as ALL the rules that I have to obey.

2. practice playing that game WITHOUT breaking the rules, and keep practicing until I become very, very good at the game

3. compete with other players and see if I have mastered the game. If not, go back to #2.

4. repeat the above on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.

Whether the game is academia (high school, college, university studies, etc.), or the career game, or the business game, or the love game (yes, here too, there are rules, and there are competitors who will compete for the heart of your targeted sweetheart!), I use the above recipe.

Hope it helps! :-)

First, you have to define what success means to you- what is important to you, what do you want to accomplish, where do you want to go with your life, etc?

Next, you have to find out how to get it. And finally, you have to go after it! If you don't have the money for college, get scholarships or go to a community college while you save up. If you need experience, get an internship or a lower level job in the field. If you want to have a happy love life, get out there and meet people. If you want to have money, save and invest wisely. You need a certain amount of ambition and determination, as well as confidence and assertiveness in order to succeed, but most importantly, you have to know what you want and go for it.

It depends on how one describes success. Do you crave power, wealth, notoriety? If that is your priority it will become a dog eat dog world and though it may bring your definition of success it will not bring happiness.

If you find what you love to do and pursue it you may lack some material things but you will be happy.

If you put your family and their welfare as your priority and accomplish you will be content and happy.

If you live your life w/o hurting or cheating others you will have joy, peace and contentment.
