Definitely Jesus, his power still exists perhaps stronger today than ever.

Beyond that, it's hard to say, as every generation had symbolically strong leaders, warriors, martys, and even criminals.

Famous would be perhaps easier than powerful. Julius Caesar was powerful, Moses was powerful....many more throughout the ages.

It definitely would NOT be anyone from modern times however that is for sure. They'll be the laughing-stock of history.

In the history of mankind Jesus is the most powerful person that you can find. Think about his life and his glory for a moment and you will know why I'm saying this. Amen.

There are different types of power, so it's impossible to say. In terms of military power, one could say Alexander The Great, the Roman Emperor Augustus or Genghis Khan all had great power in their day.

Hard one. I would think one of the Imperial Roman Emperors though (controlled the largest percentage of the world at one time).
Not Jesus: he had little power during life.

After his death — Jesus of Nazareth (affects our daily lives 2000 years later ... i.e. Christmas, 2007 AD)
During his life — Adolf Hitler (could kill anyone, may have won WWII)
