what is Place Value, value and numeral

I'm not positive about what this might mean in the context that you're using it.

The place value is the power of 10 that corresponds to the location of a particular digit.

For example, in 627, the place value of 6 is 100, because 6 is in the 100s column.

I'm not positive I what the difference between value and numeral would be. One slight difference: A numeral is just another word for a digit -- the actual symbol that represents a value. So 6 is a numeral that represents a value of 6....?
