Yes. I think all possums are cute and beautiful creatures. They are also very clever and adaptable. They are better to be looked at and not touched as they do have sharp teeth and claws! and they know how to use them as well. Every year between October thru to January, I always have numerous scratches and bites on my arms from possums. I am a wildlife rescuer and raise orphaned baby possums to release stage, so they can be released back to the wild. I think the Sugar Glider joeys are the cutest. I can honestly say I have not yet been pee'd on by a possum! I think that is a defensive action when they feel threatened ( such as shaking the tree with a ringtails drey in it like polecat does-- thats cruel and harrasing and im glad they pissed on u!)

I think the possums in Australia are very cute, unless they invade roof spaces like the brush tails and ring tails tend to do. They have adapted to life with humans, so we have to possum proof houses. Otherwise we have to put up with the smell of possum pee and the thump and rattle of their night activities.
Otherwise, the pygmy possums that feed on nectar are fantastic. I have watched them by torch light and they are cute. The Gliders are my favourite. They glide from tree to tree and have favourite trees that they feed on sap from. The trees have scars on them from them feeding on the sap.
The Yellow Bellied Glider also makes a hell of a noise as the family moves from tree to tree. My aim is to see a Leadbeaters Possum.
My best experience was feeding the Brush-tailed possums on camp oven made bread and home made Jam in the Mount Eccles National Park and then having the Yellow-bellied Gliders come screaming through our camp site.
Not only are possums great, they are so cute. But do not go into tea tree scrub with some one who wants to go looking for ring tails. They build stick nests that if there are no possums in it you can see daylight through the sticks. Do not shake the tea tree if you cannot see daylight. If you do, the possum will not be so cute and will pee on you. They are not so cute then.
