No. Your halo can never choke you. It can never be but one way: just right.
You can, however, trick yourself into thinking anything if you just lose track of the real issue: keeping up your halo.

i have someone who keeps in place!
If anything or anyone is going to choke me it will
be she when she thinks i should be choked!
But so far i only get billions of hugs !!!
I get all choked up ..... inside .......
