If you are the child of a mixed marriage (and putting aside that you love your parents and all that), what do you think of what your parents did and how do you see yourself in society?

If you mean mix by parents being from different cultures, then yes, I am a child mixed of marriage. My father is egyptian and my mother was english/welsh(but she passed away unfortunately) and i was born in wales. My parents did nothing wrong by marrying eachother. I am proud to be both egyptian and welsh, Both sides have great benefits, I mean com on, one side I have 5000 years of egyptian magic, and welsh (the mining heheheh) but both great. My anscestors are Nefertiti, very proud.

While I was growing up, my Mom was married 4 times & had 2 other kids. She left one w/the Dad & gave the other one up for adoption. She is now married for the 6th time. She was the product of sexual & alcohol abuse from her father. I'm sure he was a victim of abuse also. My kids have only 2 parents, me & their Dad, my husband. It is possible to break the cycle! I feel so blessed that my kids are growing up w/both parents in a stable Christian home. 17 yrs. & still going strong! You don't have to be a product of parental mistakes - we all make them. Anything is possible with God!!! Happy New Year!

I think they did the right thing...
a mixed marriage= a man and a woman.
Anything less wouldn't be a mixed marriage...lol.

My children are of mixed parentage and they are happy with both sides of their roots. They fit in with all societies...maybe because we are fairly well off and that society does not discriminate so much as they travel widely. If you have respect for yourself others will also have respect for you. dont worry yourself unnecessarily.
