Not good. He has been fiscally irresponsible. Even conservatives wouldn't disagree with that. He has gotten himself into a war that even he now admits is not going well. And in a political sense, he never really made it clear about what his agenda was. He has been an inactive president throughout his entire term when it comes to pushing for legislation. Hell, really the only thing he ever succeeded in was making his cronies at the country club even happier by giving them outrageous tax breaks. The guy is a dud.

I am waiting to see if he tries to play the blame game or if he will stand up, and admit his mistakes, and if he does try to blame others for his blunders in history he may be looking back with regrets.
If he would be a stand up guy, and admit his faults, and learn from them, instead of staying the same old course, start listening to people around him, things would work out. You just cannot go around trying to make yourself look good, saying someone is not supporting the troops, or putting down the troops when its not true, and that takes the cake!!!!

The media crucified Ford and Reagan. So my thoughts are that GWB will come off looking pretty darn good.

I tend to vote Democrat, but I don't believe he will be as hated as many people believe. Number one, it is impolite to say bad things about an ex-pres in academic settings. Number two, I think in ten years, if we clean up Iraq, which I think may happen, he will be as revered as Lincoln. Many historians believe the massive loss of lives in the civil war were justified by the causes. Of course if Iraq is a disaster, he will be about as ridiculed, and rightfully so, as any pres in history. (seems like common sense, doesn't it)`

he will probable get as lots interest as Clinton, furnish, Harding, Fillmore, Pierce, Johnson (take your %.). In 50 years, no person is going to care, we are going to have had extra constructive Presidents and worse Presidents in that factor and the folk would be centred on the present President of 2058.

He'll be remembered as a hero. A president whom had the balls to stand up to terrorists, and fight them where they breed.
