as you've already seen from previous answers everyone tells you not to buy it, so don't buy it ,lol . for $50 you can buy very cool toys from amazon for example , amazon has a toy and game store http://astore.amazon.com/toygame-20 where you find hundreds of cool things and many are $50 or less , so go have a look and choose something that you really want.

DON"T BUY IT!! DON"T BUY IT!! It's not worth it. It may be fun for a couple of hours but it gets SOOO boring after a while. Tamagotchis are much better in my opinion... Oh, and Robosapien is not 50 bucks. It's like $129.99.

Tamagotchi price: 15.00 for V3, $35.00 for V4

Eh, robosapien isn't all that. It is amusing for a few hours, and you might occasionally enjoy showing it off to people. But, ultimately it will get boring and sit on a shelf.

Spend it on something that makes your daily life better.

What kind of question is that? Do you WANT a "robosapien"? If you don't, what do you want that you can afford with $50?
