I'm in 8th Grade and need to have a short story written by Friday January 5, 2007. I have run out of ideas!!!!!!!!! Please help! Please don't tell me how I can get inspired or to write about things I know about or am interested in. The story just needs to persuade my teacher to believe in something (i.e. magic, or that flying is possible). Any kinds of ideas would be helpful!

Why not write about this post that you have done? And perhaps include some of the answers you may receive.
