"We hurt the ones we love the most"...true or false, what do you think?

Just curious, as to what other people think.

I believe it is true...I have hurt (the ones I love the most) and been hurt(by the ones I love the most)

I think it is true. We care for them and they for us. If we did not care, we could shrug it of and say "Oh, well" and go on with life. Those we care about, matters. Whether you are the one hurting another or the one being hurt. Good question.

I feel it's true and have experienced it. We take for granted the ones we love and know because they love us they will forgive us. We might even say we don't care, but deep down inside we know just how far we can push things with loved ones. Sorry for you hurts, that's just part of life's ups and downs. I believe also the saying "treat others as you would like to be treated" and we'd had far less hurting.

True. Many, many times we end up taking the ones we love for granted. This ends up with a lot of resentment. Doesn't matter what the situation is. For example your stressed with bills so your cousin helps you out by giving you a loan. When you go to pay bills from that point on it's far too easy to say, "Oh, I'll put off giving him some money, He won't get mad" Then on his end resentment builds up and he thinks you stiffed him. That's just an example. This could also be emotional, where one person feels the other person wasn't there for them etc... Many, many situations.

seems to be true most murders happen in the home as a result of a family member killing another family member.
in addition when we love someone we have got to know them and once we know a person well we learn the vulnerable spots are and sadly when a big blow up happens we often go for the emontail sore spots hit them where it hurts.
a complete stranger could walk up to me and call me all sorts of names and say i stupid and so on but i dont care what the guy is saying because i really only care what the people who know me think and the people i want to know.
sadly not long ago i broke up with this women friend of 10 years.
that part i am ok with had to do it . but she wrote me a nasty email i didnt get upset about it at least i thought i didnt but later i replied to it and wrote some things i know to be true about her and her family and i know what i wrote was like kicking her when we was down. now to my credit i wrote back and in the subject part i wrote read this first important and stuff like that .
i made it clear that i wanted her to delete the other email and not read it at all but one of the problems with her is that she will not ever i mean ever do what i suggest or even insist she do . and i only ask her to do things so rarely oh well she read it and i know she is one sad person now.

I don't think that's supposed to be taken literally. You feel like you've been hurt the most by someone you love, because if you didn't love the person in the first place, you wouldn't care enough to be hurt by them. See?

I've never agreed with that. I think causing hurt or pain to a person has nothing to do with love. I would never ever hurt the ones I love.

I agree we do hurt the ones we love because they are there, we take for granted their love and devotion, as well just being there for us,

I think it's true. You feel secure enough that you think if you hurt them they will still love you.
