I have been playing for over 40 years and not once have I ever heard of a left handed pickup. I think you will be just fine with standard pickups.

For humbucking pickups there is no difference. However, with single coils that have "staggered" polepieces there is such a thing. The polepieces were placed for best response from each string. Thats how Jimmy got the great sound from his Strat.

I have been playing left handed all my life as I am LEFT HANDED. There are left handed : guitars, pickups, volume/tone controls, necks , and on and on..... The problem is finding them as it is a right handed world. Even Gibson guitars don't have left handed volume-tone controls or pickups. Note: the direction that the pickup wire is wound, has an effect on the sound. The best thing to do is find out what sounds good to you and jam on.

William, on lots of the staggered-pole single coils, there's a series dating of the poles to the strings; nevertheless, for a left-exceeded guitar, you may genuinely merely turn a surprising-exceeded pickup a hundred and eighty-stages to surprising the pole-to-string dating. in this actual case with the Seymour-Duncan Junior, the poles are in my view adjustable, which removes any string-dating subject concerns. terrific regards, Dana P.S. Neil has some large innovations for tone versatility; even nonetheless, do not confuse the actual orientation of the pickup with the polarity of the wiring. The in-section/out-of-section features of how pickups work together with one yet another is particular to the wiring scheme.

They're the same. Just remember that the connecting wires run towards the bottom (high Estring side of the guitar) and you'll be ok.
