Colston should have got it hands down. The media didn't want to be embarrassed by not giving it to one of their over-hyped top 3 - Lienhart, Bush or Young, but of the 3, I would have gone with Young.

Not at all, Colston had a great year but no one Rookie was more spectacular then Vince Young. Finishing off the year with 7 straight victories is amazing considering this team should have been in the dumps. Although he did not do it in a pretty fashion, he made the big plays when he had to and made good decisions and throws that many people believed he would not be able to do for a few more years.

Absolutely, Vince Young had horrible stats and everyones rational was that he was a winner and turned that team around, but if your picking based on winning, how about any rookie from the Chargers or the Ravens afterall, they were the winningest teams. Colston had both, he was part of a team that really turned it around this year and had phenominal numbers.

He absolutely was...to go from 7th round pick to best rookie receiver and a good one even compared to all kinds of vets?? The only other people that even belong in the conversation are Marcus McNeil and Maurice Jones-Drew. I pput Vince 4th or 5th,

Colston
Jones-Drew
McNeil
Leinhart/Young/
whichevers left

Another thing that I dont get, so what if he led them to 8-8, 8-8 does not make him a winner, it makes them as a team mediocre

No way he had a heck of a year but lets face it Vince Young who everyone thought would be a terrible QB alomost led the Titans to the Play-offs. If it wasn't for Vince they would be 4-12 and not 7-9

I dont really think so. True he was amazing this year for a 7th rounder outta Hofstra. And that injury clearly pended his stats, but look at the Saints. They are a good team. I know they have recovered since last year, but compare Saints and Titans. Titans started off horrible. Vince Young looked like he could never adjust to the NFL, but look at what he did from mid-season to the end. He saved the Titans from a losing record and put them in playoff contention. Its ok that he couldnt make it. But Young rallied that team to be respected and saved Jeff Fischer's job. He deserved Rookie of the Year

I'd say Maurice Jones-Drew is the one who got snubbed. He put in a full year of quality play. Young plays a half of a year and gets ROY? Not right.

not snubbed. Probably third behind vince, jones-drew. if he didn't get hurt and broke 10 td's, then a solid 2nd. vince is just light years ahead of the rest of them.
