I'll admit that Greece will be a team to watch for to make a small splash in 2010 and possible qualify for the Round of 16 if they get a good draw in the Group Stages. But there are too many other powerhouses right now. Greece doesn't compare to any of the major players on the world stage. Brazil, Germany, Italy, Argentina, England, Portugal, Croatia, France. The list can just keep going.
My point is that Greece MIGHT sneak into the Round of 16 with a good enough draw in the Group stage, but would struggle to beat their first round opponent.

Sorry if I sound mean but Greece wasn't able to fare very well in the Confederations Cup the year after. I remember that tie they had with Mexico in Mexico's last game of the first round. Maybe Mexico could win a World Cup before the Greeks could. LOL
