Assuming I'm just browsing through the phone book, and there is no other information (like, ads detailing services, philosophies, etc.)...

I would be least likely to call, and have the most unfavorable view of, "The Baby Project"...it sounds too clinical/business-like. As if someone was planning to manage my pregnancy/delivery/postnatal period in a very clipped, programmed manner.

Baby by Mom sounds kind of the same way too me, although slightly less harsh. Doesn't Dad have a say in it? Doesn't Baby get a say in it? Again, sounds like a project, not an experience.

The Mommy Source sounds to me like it would be (surprise) a good source for mommies. I know that sounds waaaay to generic, but, at a first glance, that's what I'm thinking. It sounds like I'd be able to call up and get all sorts of info from prenatal through at least the pre-school years. This is the one I would probably call first. My only concern is that people with much older children might call, and, from what you wrote above, I'm not sure you'd be servicing that population (or would you?). But, I get a positive connotation from it.

Babies and Bellies sounds like a Gymboree-type class to me. LOL. I don't have a positive or negative connotation of it, but I'm not sure I would call it for the reasons you outlined above.

An old marketing tool.....use "A" or "1"....for top billing in the phone book.

For example...

A Baby Project
#1 Mommy Source

That way, when people are scanning the phonebook, yours is the first one they see.

Bellies and babies, first. Sounds cute and more open hearted.

I've never heard of any of those places.

Ask the nurses at the doctors office, or call the hospital directly.
They have Lamaze classes monthly.

I wouldn't call any of them unless I saw advertising in the phonebook that would explain a little more than just the name.
