Around my areolas there is a texture of skin, its kind of scaley, and rough to the touch. There is no tenderness nor is there any kind of discharge, it doesnt itch either, what could this mean?

I'm sure in other comments you will hear about Paget's disease, a very rare form of breast cancer that manifests in the way you describe. But what it sounds like to me is you might need a more supportive bra.

Being a c-cup myself, I often find that if I go braless, or wear a cute little bra with inadequate support, my nipples chafe on my shirt after a day of activity... especially if I do any vigorous activity like running. The skin gets very dry on the areolas and can flake off or get scaly-looking. Lotion helps, as does wearing a more heavy duty bra.

Have you changed your laundry detergent, or the type of body soap or lotion that you use? That could account for it. But with any change in the breast, it's good to get a Dr.'s opinion, just to be on the safe side.
