You don't tune it in, you plug it in with a SCART cable, then to record from your Sky box you select AV or AV1 as the input and press 'record'.
Surely you've not sat wondering for ten days???!!!

providing both devics support SCART thats the best way to connect. there may also be other forms of connector such aas DVI or peripheral intereconnect.
as a last resort you could use the RF signal but hte quality will be significantly lower.

put scart lead into tv and then go to an avi channel on the player sky should be there

vcr scart on digi box to dvd r, out of dvd r to tv. tv scart to tv. dvd should do the autotune
