The pipes in our upstairs bathroom make noises even hours after we have used the shower.?

It's like a humming noise. Nothing is leaking. The pressure is fine.Our house is about 10 years old.

this is most likely caused by the pipes contracting cooling down from the hot water that was just in them.

If you have a boiler, it could be a recirculating pump making the noise.
