Yes, I recall all this being revealed during the election. But don't delude yourself by thinking Americans voted for Bush because he's more closely related to the Windsors than Kerry.
Kerry showed himself to be an elitist and this turned a lot of people off. A large number who did vote for Kerry were just voting against Bush. I did this kind of voting in other elections.
My vote has never been influenced by distance relations.
In fact, I recently read that with the population of the world growing as it is, we are all related to royalty somewhere down the tree.

Bush won because he's more closely related to the Royal Family? Baloney! I thought you were going to have some conspiracy theory based on their membership in the Skull and Bones Society.

You have a very vivid imagination. I'm not aware of any relationship, but I suppose there might be 1 on Kerry's mother's side. There relationship to the Queen of England is not a factor if it exists. Our votes do count.

I'm probably distantly related to you. My mom is English, and I have royal blood (very, very distant) through her side. Does that mean I should run for president?

You probably had a laugh as you typed this. You are also probably the only one who will get a laugh out of it.

If you voted for him and I voted for him and he won then why do you say votes don't mean anything?
