Relax a bit. Your going thru a difficult time right now being pregnant, and your husbands unemployment. Try not to worry about things you can't control right now. Be patient, something will come up for your husband.

I feel sorry for your husband. First regardless of the whatever makes you go off the handle then makes you feel bad afterward is just a sign of losing control. No one that has both unemployment and another mouth to feed needs more of his self esteem striped away. Men defined themselves as providers self-esteem is tied to our ability to provide for the family. If you can't control your outbursts try to tell him that you need his help and tell him you are sorry it will make you both feel better. You should try some time-outs from each other to let things cool down because if you and he can't communicate what do you think it will do with your child exposed to the yelling and stress.

Two things change behaviors in a women more rapidly than anything else (outside of PMS.)
1) Being pregnant.
2) Going through menopause.
Since you're pregnant you have to somehow slow down your actions/reactions and take a couple breaths before flying off the handle.
The first step is noticing your behavior. You have that down! So best of luck trying to be more patient.
:)

Hormones can really play games with ya babe. I have had four children. My advice to you is when you feel you are going to "go off" on him. Close your eyes, take a deep breath, count to ten, slowly let it out. If this doesn't help, go into another room for 5 or ten minutes and try to calm yourself. Still upset ? Take a nice warm bath and relax. Believe it or not, grabbing a coloring book & crayons and sitting and coloring for awhile is an exellent stress reliever.

You need to take responsibility for your own actions instead of blaming him, your hormones, etc. If you feel bad flying off the handle, then exert some self-control and stop doing it.

Hormones---whether during pregnancy or PMS--can make you do crazy stuff. So will stress, so you have TWO things working against you.
Just try to take a deep calming breath, count to 10--or even 50!--and don't speak until you feel you're calmer.
God bless....

First, he needs to find a job to support the your family. Yes, that is probably why you keep flying off the handle.

I'd say it's more like hormones. Stress isn't helping either. You need to talk to someone about it...your doc, pastor, a counselor...somebody because the stress and anger you are feeling could cause problems with your baby.

It's your hormones sweety and him not working. Your carrying this baby, and your intuition is telling you you him and the baby need the income.
Ask him to take any position he can find for just now. No job is belittleing yourself, not working is!
Stress can cause alot of bad things to come from our mouths.
