Because true happiness can only be found inside your heart. If you look forward happiness outside - like in relationship, it will not last for long.
Also, if you love someone and expect to be loved back, that's not an unconditional love at all.
Only unconditional love come
from inside of your true heart,
from your true being,
which is the source of light, love and happiness.

As with everything in life, happiness in a relationship does not get delivered on a plate......it is something each partner has to work at. Sometimes it can be very difficult and you have to ultimately accept that you will never change your partner, but you can make concessions for each other which make living together far easier.

There are things my wife does and says which used to drive me nuts - and I'm sure there are things I do or say that drives her mad too. If you can get the important ones out of the way, then you quickly realise the little ones don't matter.

When all is said and done, if you're not happy with anything (relationships, work, your car, your socks) then change it.

Too often people look for happiness beyond themselves. If you're not happy when you enter a relationship, the other person can't make you happy. If you don't love yourself, the other person can't make you love yourself.

More people should be alone and learn to love that kind of life before they enter a relationship.

Because there are moments in the relationship that are great, and they fear that, even though the relationship is mostly bad, those few happy moments are well worth it, and that those few moments can only be found from this partner... As for me, I want to leave, but she makes me feel guilty.
