Yes, although named 'morning sickness' the feeling of nausea or vomiting during pregnancy can occur any time of the day. It was most likely wrongly named 'morning sickness' as it can be believed to be worse when first getting out of bed because blood sugar levels are low (this is why people suggest eating a cracker or something before you get up). However, the feeling of sickness during pregnancy can happen any time, day or night as it is the pregnancy hormones that make you feel this way. As your body adjusts to being pregnant the sickness should wear off after the first few months, although some women do experience it throughout the pregnancy & this is normal too.

Morning sickness is a myth. Sickness all hours of the day and night is more like it. I was fine during the day and then bang on midnight the sickness would start.

Absolutely. Morning sickness is just a term, but it can be am, pm or even all day. Thankfully, for most its only a few hours a day and only lasts thru the first 10 weeks or so. Best of luck!

Why they call it Morning Sickness, I'll never know. Morning Sick-ness can happen anytime during the day. Morning, afternoon or evening. If you're concerned, speak to your midwife or GP. I know your concerns. I felt exactly the same at the beginning.

people get sick at all times of the day and some dont get sick at all. it depends on the person. Its only called morning sickness because it most commonly occures in the morning. some people are sick all day. I had a friend who could only work day shifts in work as she was really sick in the night. as i said it depends on the person.

Oh yeah.....some moms have "all day sickness" instead. "Morning sickness" is a misnomer......it can hit any time of day. It's usually worst in the morning because that's when most moms have gone the longest without eating. Keep something on your tummy all the time.

Poor you. When i was pregnant my sickness used to come in the morning..then again at 5pm..odd maybe..but very common..there is no such thing as just "morning sickness".It is difficult to deal with..but just eat light and often and drink plenty of water,a high fibre diet will help also as one can get constipated juring pregnacy.Hope you feel better soon..my sickness vanished at 12 weeks.

Don't know y they call it morning sickness can happen at any time. I guess it's when the baby is most awake or something. Plus every female is different during their pregnancy. Some barely throw up at all.
