Natural selection suggests that we are meant to spread our seed. Those with more offspring end up with more descendants. But as human beings, we have the rational factors to consider. We tend to look at consequences for our future, and weigh them in our decisions. Also, humans are very social. There are other social factors we consider other than just our libidos. Relationships are important to men. The consequences of our decisions and our desire to maintain the relationships we value motivate us to get married. And this seems natural to us when we get married. So it's not either natural or unnatural; it's partly both.

Sorry but that sounds pretty irresponsible to me. Marraige is a commitment between two people. There are enough children in this world without a caring father (or mother) . A child should be wanted by two loving, caring people so if l were you l would hold off spreading your seed till you had a better outlook on being a parent.

According to the Bible, God created man and woman and woman for man because he was lonely. He said a man should leave his mother and father's home and become one with his wife and they should be fruitful and multiple. These are not the exact words, but the meaning is definitely the same. Therefore to answer your question precisely....marriage is natural (if you will) or I would say in the plan of the creator and no man is not meant to make babies all over the world.

Spreading your seed...I think in primitive societies it was needed and men still have that basic instinct. I think that to days society has taught men how to go against that instinct to make things simpler. I think that there is a time for everything and the time for spreading your seed has past. It is time for monogamy. Isn't the population large enough?

I'd hate to be married to someone who thinks that way. If you feel that men "have to spread their seed" then you definately are not ready for marriage. Keep looking for that person who will make you think "I want to be w/just her". GOOD LUCK hunting.

Marriage is not natural for men - however I don't buy the 'seed' business.

The planet doesn't need any more seed spread, nor any more increases in world population. There are now 6.5 billion of us on this planet, and it looks bleak for the coming generations. Do the world a favor, and have a vasectomy....

If you want to spread your seed, don't get married.
There's plenty of loose single women out there.
Too bad none of them want kids unless THEY are married.
