Decent is subjective. You might think so, but will others truely? If they are the same item, list them as a lot with how many you have. If they are different, list them seperately. Only going by the minute details you gave.........

eBay is a quirky thing... It really all depends on what's hot - and if your ad creates a need...
If you're selling things like new release CDs at a cheap price, then most of the time they should sell within the first few listings... You should never have to re-list an item 7 or 8 times if you're selling something "decent"... The idea is - if you're selling something useful, popular, and "in" you should be able to at least get a bit of traffic or watchers on the first listing...
If you find yourself having real trouble - you should try finding a local eBay consigment store, they'll be able to better serve you.

It is hard to quantify, but you should reasonably assume that 50-75% would sell as a straight across the board figure.
If you list them again, you will probably lose money as few people would want to buy them. Those items just sell for whatever you can get and keep listing the good stuff.

if they were decent items then you wouldnt need to list them "like about 7 or 8 times" they'd sell first time unless you have no feedback and you're trying to sell 10 ferrari enzo's or have feedback that's through the floor. Also if you dont accept paypal that's a big turnoff and you've got to offer postage rather than cash on collection.

the indecent ones would sell better
if the price is fair and you make a good description and a good photo, maybe 1/3 will sell
maybe reduce the prices and list the remaining items again
it really comes down to what you will accept for it
"stack em high and sell em low" the guy I was named after said that

if you price it right most items will sell the first time unless you are listing things nobody has any interest in buying.

If the price is right, people would buy even dirt. I saw that on Jay Leno show.

depends on time of year, depends on time of posting, depends on ending time of auction, depends on the demographics that you are targeting, depends on your price compared to everyone elses, depends on how the auction looks compared to others, it depends on the picture quality....the list can go on and on.
