You say you want to go somewhere not too far from Cork. You can drive to Shanon, catch a ryanair plane and fly to Lodz in Poland. I was born there and studied there so I know everything about it;) It has a great night life (probably the most partying city in Poland;) ). It's still very undiscovered tourist destination (and so much more original than Prague or Cracow) so the prices are very reasonable and Lodz does possess a character unlike anywhere else. The unique brand of industrial architecture, combined with stunning examples of Art Nouveau and eclecticism is quite incredible. If you're interested in finding out some more about Lodz there are not much pages about it or companies organising hen weekends or stag weekends but I recently found this page: http://blackturtle.co.uk/ They will probably tell you everything you need to know about Lodz if you will be interested.

come to my place - we'll have a tupperware party!

Seriously though - maybe save the money and spend it on an Ann Summers party. Then bride as well as you can take home something that'll last far longer than any overseas jaunt. You could do it in a hotel room - and spend the entire day at the spa.

Perfect!!!
