What in the hell is a republican and what the hell is a democrat..I admit I don't care about politics but I want to know what is the difference between the two....someone care to fill me in??

In a nutshell;
Democrats are for government controlling the nation
Republicans are for the people controlling the nation
When democrats get into office, their objective is to change things without requiring the objective of the voting public.
When Republicans are in office, their objective is to change it so more things are controlled by the public.
The truth is, it is politics damnit! Why can't we abolish politics and raise the moms of this world to control the nation. I say mom knows best.
