I had this pimple, and I started picking at it which I know was wrong...Well I ended up getting this clear scab over it kinda..I am not sure what it is but it look like a burn..it is right under my nose and burns..It is also really red and concealer won't cover it at all! I have tried toothpaste, and peroxide but i can't get the clear coating to go away? I hate going to school looking like this so does anyone know some quick remedies tha may work?

I have gotten the coating off once, but it came back..When I did that it just made it really raw and worse

I have this clean and clear cream that USUALLY works, but for the scab thingy it isn't doing a thing

If there is a strange clear coat that doesn't act like a pimple, maybe it isn't one. Toothpaste has always worked for me - not the gel, a paste. Put in on at night, and Leave it on.

There is no quick remedy other than to just leave it alone and let the skin heal. It sounds like you've rubbed or scraped off the top layer of skin. You can try some neosporin cream (not the ointment) to keep from getting a bacterial infection and if you use the kind with pain relief it will make it less irritating.
Next time instead of messing with it, use Queen Helene mask in just that spot overnight to help dry it out.

I usually don't tell people to pick at them, but can you get the clear-ish coating off of it? If you can, then put some acne treatment cream on it immediately. Leave it alone for a while and see if it goes away. Next time, just don't pick it. It will only make them worse and you may end up with a scar.

I have an acne treatment that has won me the best answer better then fifteen times. Often, the person who voted it the best answer was amazed at how well it worked, even those who had severe cases of acne. I'll copy and paste it below.

Use a hot compress on it, and then use cool water to close the pores. Do the process over and over again, about five or six times. Use soap to wash the area, and then treat it with an alcohol soaked cotton ball. It should be gone within five to six hours.

Here are some of the previous comments I got from those who voted it as the best answer,

First, stop touching it. That makes it 100x worse.

Second, I put vinager on this HUGE zit I had on my forehead an it sort of worked.

Third, I have this stuff from Aveeno and that worked really nice. It was in a green tube and I got it in CVS but I have seen it in Walgreens

I really think you should just get something from Aveeno. Their products have always worked nice for me and my friends.

Good Luck!!!

Ok seriously. How old are you? do you not know to not mess with your zits??

You shouldn't have popped it in the first place.

Freaking leave it alone and only apply lotion to it not any facial washes or toners.

Especially don't apply peroxide or alcohol. Your making it worst.
