Don't dress like an overgrown teenager. I'm sorry if I'm sounding a bit harsh but I've seen many preteen girls trying to fit in so they start buying low cut shirts or small skirts but it just drags over and it dosent look good at all. Don't make this mistake. If I was you, I would wear whatever you feel comfortable in. There is no one preteen style. Preteen is a transition into teen and teenagers have millions of different styles. Just go to the store and find clothes that fit and clothes that you think are cute and nice. Never buy anything you don't like, just because someone else had it. Everyone is different and some people look better in some clothes then others.

you can try to be cool all you want but all that really matters is if you truely love yourself. If you think about it, it isn't going to matter in the long run if you were considered cool or not so you might as well do what you are happy with and wear what you want. I am not saying that their is anything wrong with being up on the latest trends. But please do it so that you are happy with yourself, not to be cool. I don't really try to keep up on the latest trends. I just try to wear what I like and be comfortable. The best way to keep up with trends is to look in magazines like Cosmogirl and Seventeen.

i wear collard shirts with a skirt and tights under the skirt with jewlry to match it with some cute shoes but i say wear what suits you the most and no honey no sweatpants thats UGLY but its all on you make your own style people may start to wear what you wear so bein your self will come with many rewards!
