nope, unless something happens that dramatically improves both their running game and their running defense.

The Colts are one of the twin jokers in the AFC Playoffs deck along with San Diego. Both those teams aren't going to win the AFC, but they're believed to have a good chance. If you can't run or stop the run, you're going to lose in the playoffs, if you make it there. If you can't do either, you aren't in the playoffs unless you play in Indianapolis and are nicknamed the Colts. The Colts might beat the Chiefs, but should be underdogs in that game. However, game 2 would be the Ravens and they have a 99.9% chance of losing.
The Ravens should be the favorite to win the Super Bowl. The Jets, Patriots, and Chiefs also have a chance to win the AFC and blowout some awful team in the Super Bowl (the best team in the NFC is a glorified 8-8 team and the worst playoff team in the NFC isn't as good a team as the Oakland Raiders). San Diego should be given a chance to make it to the AFC Championship (they might beat Kansas City if the Chiefs beat the Colts), but they aren't going to beat Baltimore, New England, or the Jets.
Peyton Manning is a system QB and about as good as Drew Bledsoe. The difference between Manning and Bledsoe is that Manning has the best Offensive Line of all time, the best receiving corps of all time, and played with the best supporting cast of all time until Edge went to the desert last offseason. Any QB who doesn't win a Super Bowl playing on that great of a team for 8 years is not a good QB. Trent Dilfer won a Super Bowl on a Raven team that had no WRs, and was depending on a rookie who was still recovering from an ACL tear for its running game. Yes, he did have one of the greatest defenses of all time, but the Colts had a defense once and Peyton Manning couldn't get the job done at that point. If Manning were to be injured and Jim Sorgi were to come in, the Colts wouldn't miss a beat. That's because Manning isn't very much better than Jim Sorgi (assuming that Sorgi is an average backup QB, because we don't know how good he is). Someday, Manning might get hurt and Sorgi might lead the Colts to a Lombardi Trophy. He might kick Manning to the curb. Manning should hope he never gets hurt, because if he does, he'll be exposed for what he is, just like Kurt Warner was in 2002 when Marshall Faulk got old, the O-Line got old, and he got hurt and watched Marc Bulger prove that he's a better QB. If you compare Manning to Kurt Warner (who benefited from a similar system), Warner actually had better stats than Manning has had, including 2 40 TD years (Manning has 1). If you consider Peyton Manning a great QB, then you have to give that title to Brad Johnson, Trent Dilfer, Doug Flutie, and Kurt Warner and nobody defends them as great QBs.

The Colts could really surprise teams this year. That said, I'd say no. Peyton Manning is good enough to lead them there. The question is, of course, is the run defense good enough.

Yes peyton manning is definitely good enough to be the starting quarterback. It is the defense that needs to keep the colts alive. It also depends what teams they will be going up against.

It would be nice, but the Colts cant stop the run. That will be there downfall. Payton will eventually get his, just not this year.

No SB for the Colts or Manning this year again. Manning may never get there.

LOL, They gotta make it through the 1st round, and remember, it's Payton Manning who chokes in at least the 1st or 2nd rounds. At one point they would have to meet the Pats, if the Pats win their ganes, in the Finals. Ain't gonna happen! Remember the Pats, I believe are "undefeated" in the "rubber" match if they've beaten the Pats at least 1x.during the Reg season.

Sweet heart, you have to be able to stop the run to get to the super bowl. And against KC and LJ in the first round, and either LT and SD or NE's two headed monster in the next round. Good luck.

They have a slim chance because their rush defense in horrible and are now making more mistakes then in the beginning of the season. Peyton Manning is still doing well .He still has his charm of finding the open guy in tough times.
