I need to know how much dollar damage was casued by the 1883 eruption of Krakatoa. Could someone please tell me or give me a link to another source?

If I needed to know that I would rush right to a Library. Check your past researching methods and see if you could apply those techniques to your needs on Krakatoa. Use different relative criteria to your area of concern using for example, dates and/or years. Brainstorming with other folks (as you are doing now) is also a good way to learn new research techniques. You can apply the newly learned methods and/or techniques to other areas. Keep in mind, everyone on our wonderful earth has or will have a question to be addressed. Hope this helps.

Yes it is a volcanic island that was conciderd the worst colcanic eruption it was the equvalint of 20megatons of tnt going off in recorded history.And it triggers a chain of tsumanis and at least 36,417 (official toll) people died.
