Arods confidence would be boosted helping him at the plate let alone the obvious factor of him being 10 times better at short than Jeter.

I dont care where you put Jeter, just not at SS. If Jeter isnt selfish why is the best SS in the game not playing SS? Wow, Yankee fans really are retarded.

Oh Nomar by technique of a strategies. specific, Jeter have been given extra exposure and popularity, yet nomar became arguably the wonderful offensive (besides a-rod) shortstop interior the MLB on the time. the 1st to hit 35 domicile runs in a season, and he did it better than as quickly as. additionally, he had extra effective variety then Jeter. every person thinks Jeter is a few protection-god because of the fact of his famed performs like the diving into-the-stands seize (which he made until now he have been given to the stands!) and his relay to Jorge Posada. actuality is, he's a smart protecting participant, yet not an surprising one. Nomar has had articles written purely approximately his protection, which wasn't even his reliable factor. Base on all of this, i might actual say Garciaparra became the extra effective shortstop.

-5. arod has bulked up to much since moving to third and the reason he is there is because Derek Jeter is the teams captain with 4 rings that arod doesn't have at one of the most important positions in baseball. Selfish is probobly the last thing i would use to describe Derek Jeter. He isn't a show-off all he cares about is his team winning and thats it. Wow your an idiot. You can't have seen Jeter play in a game if you added that. I definitly agree with btamlind and all the true fans of the game on this.

r u nuts... really? like jeter just won his third gold glove quit complaning ... i like a-rod and all but jeter is amazing defensively + arods done all this work to move to third, it would be difficult to move him back and move jeter to second as well. they would lose way more games with this rearangment u want to do.... and jeter's not selfish, hes the captain and hes the shortstop of the new york yankees

I think it would work well, but in the end they are not winning the world series now (even with this change) and they need young players. If jeter went to 2nd what would happen to their best young player robinson cano!!!!!?????
Also, they dont have a 3rd baseman and they would probably go out and pay 15 mil. a year for some guy who wont take them anywhere.

I think A-Rod would be a better fit at short, but Jeter at second??!!?!? That might not work. So I'll say they'll win around 70-80 games with that scheme. They also have no Sheffield now, so you have to take that into consideration of their wins.

Zero. Robinson Cano happens to be a pretty talented player and if you move A-Rod from third how would play there?
