Home parties. I sell Mary Kay, my sister-in-law sells other home party things, I have a friend that does tupperware and another that sells home cleaning supplies and yet another that sells Discovery Toys, which I recommend if you want to bring baby to the parties. I bring in about 100-200 a month depending on how hard I work and I have 2 kids. 1 yr old an 5 yr old. My reorder business is what keeps me going. I had to work hard to get the clients at the beginning but now I just sit back and wait for the gals to call me with what they need. Works great. She needs to find a product that she loves and practically sells itself. Good luck!

I stayed home with my son for three years and managed to bring in enough money during that time to cover all of our groceries and utility bills. How did I do it?
1) I took in other children, while their mothers worked. I tried to find children that I could take 2 or 3 days a week, as opposed to 5 days a week...that way I could have some one on one time with my son.
2) I picked up a couple of homes to clean and offered to do laundry for other mothers in the neighborhood. I would put my son in a pack and play to nap while I cleaned.
3) I got a job working one Monday night a month at a local school keeping children in the "play room" while their parents meet with teachers. The PTA paid me $40 every 4th Monday night for keeping the kids occupied, showing a movie, having a short craft for them to do.
4) I got a job at a local church disinfecting the nursery after a full crowd on Sundays. I would come in on Mondays and clean for a few hours while my son played.
Other things that I never did, but looked into included...having a paper route where I would get up early and deliver a full route, selling things on ebay, Mary Kay Cosmetics, and finding a job that mirrored the hours my husband worked.
I hope this helps! Good luck to you.

Either start a mini daycare in her home, or see about working at the government offices where they do the WIC and Taniff and Food Stamps and all that.

Well, she can get a job at a daycare center, that way she can bring her baby there too.
Or she could just babysit at home, too.

I am an avid listener of Dr. Laura. She promotes staying home with your children. I wish I could have. There are so many sites that are above board that offer ways to work from home.
Start with one I've heard of called www.income.com
and do your research. You shouldn't have to pay to work.
Hope this helps....
