I don't think you should do anything out of spite or for revenge. Who cares if she is popular? Who cares if she talks too much? Maybe someone will shove a fist in her face one day (not meaning that has to be you!) And, who cares if she knows you like someone! Big deal! I understand you may still be in elementary or middle school, but liking a boy is nothing to be afraid of. If he finds out- big whoop. Either he likes you back or not, it really isn't the end of the world. Maybe, since you were in the library, you should focus on more important things like reading and schoolwork.
Oh and just for the record, anyone who tells your secrets are not a friend!

When someone is just taking advantage over you they control you, boss you around, and they do what your friend did. Your friend might be using you as someone to "just hang around with so that I don't look like a loner".
