I would recommend you contact the seller and inform them of how and when you intend to pay...even though they did not specify in their listing when to pay, it isn't open ended and to cover yourself, just inform them (or ask if it is ok). Many sellers consider 3 days a reasonable time.

Providing you inform the seller how you intend to pay for the item then there should be no problem but if paying by cheqe sellers usually like ltheir payment received within 3 days, depends on the individual. There should be no bad feedback as long as you keep the seller informed.

If there isn`t a set time for payment then it should be alright,if this happens to me i usually just drop them a quick line to let them know that i do still intend to pay for the item,do this through contact seller.

They generally ask for payment to be received within 3 days of the auction ending.Try contacting the seller and ask for details of payment time limits etc. Although 4 days doesn't seem unreasonable.

Four days sounds reasonable, but the most important thing is that people like to be kept informed. If you send an email telling them exactly when you will send the money, and then send it then, you shouldn't get bad feedback.

eBay's rules give you up to 7 days to pay, before a seller can start a complaint. You should be OK if you pay in 4 days.

Write the seller an e-mail saying that your check will be in the mail in 4 days. That will be good enough.

If there are no written instructions regarding the payment, you should be fine. Just to be safe, why don't you email the seller and tell him or her what your payment plans are at this point.

You should inform the seller. I would certainly want paying before that, and if not I would re-list the item. Why did you bid if you can't pay ?
