Find someone better and realize the other was a waste of your time after the good went bad.

I have had a rough time with relationships. They seem to have been ruined by drugs. I am on my 4 marriage and I told this guy up front when we first dated no drugs. I went down that road and got my life together and I feel really good and think with a clear mind. It is very painful no matter what causes a breakup though. And sometimes when I am thinking about my past it still hurts to this day , its just now I can bear the pain as for then the pain was so deep it was almost unbearable. Good luck to you.

Of course they're hard. Because we invest so much of our energy into our our life with our partner, when the partner leaves we have all that energy and nowhere to put it. The quick answer is to rapidly find another place where you can dump energy...perhaps by jumping on a bunch of different partners. Best way, however, is to invest the energy in yourself. Learn to love yourself, to honor and respect yourself and to accept yourself without judgment. You are the best friend you'll ever have. You are the center of your own universe. If you can truly Love yourself, then you will come to accept others without feeling the pain of separation. We can't control others but we can control how we react to the conduct of others. I know this sounds simple and it's really tough. Good luck.

You accept it and live your life is all you do. Once you understand that you have to go on living and the other person is gone, you start to remember why the relationship kind of sucked, and then the things he/she did that bothered you come flooding back into your conciousness, then--if you have to deal with them--you maybe even get a little angry and impatient with the stuff that bothered you in the first place. Then you just accept it.

The last time it happened to me (and I got dumped, and that's harder than dumping somebody), I tried to be the better person and forgive too quickly, and that just invited the woman to thoughtlessly impose on me, that made me mad finally, and then it all came back, and I figured out what we had done to ruin our relationship, and I figured out I had made more progress than her because she was still the same thoughtless, selfish, self-absorbed person that made me want to ignore her until she dumped me in the first place.

I am still getting over it. When you feel that you gave your all and when you look back and seen the person you were with never loved you, oh that hurts. The thing you have to remember is you don't have to forget you have to let go and move on. In due time your life will fall back in to place. Never wish bad on that person because it always comes back on you. Keep your head up, our day will come!!!

My boyfriend cheated on me;( Don't get me wrong, I think I am an attractive female. 24 years old, 5'2, 125 pounds, cute face, nice smile, but he cheated on me:(I don't have any kids, but he does with a previous marriage. I just think its in their nature to cheat. Why have one when u can have a few? I say Time, it heals everything. The heart eventually forgives and forgets the pain, but the sad memory remains, unforgotten.

Depends on why you broke up? If it was because of infidelity then just "move on baby"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No need to cry over spilt milk. No need. If it is because you just grew apart, well that is sad but it happened for a reason. Cry a little but realize that there are LOTS of fish in the sea and go catch one!!! All will be good :)
