How about I get you started, and then you're on your own, OK? Do you know what an adjective is? It's a describing word that describes a noun which is a person, place, or thing.

A "proper" adjective is an adjective that's capitalized; in other words, it's the NAME of something.

A "compound" adjective is an adjective that's made up of more than one word.

Oh, and the words "a", "an", and "the" are adjectives.

Sentence #1: one proper adjective (American = it's the name of something and capitalized, and it describes "refuge" which is a noun because it's a "place") and one compound adjective (the first American wildlife = more than one word and they all go together to also describe "refuge").

Sentence #2: This sentence has ONE proper adjective and ONE compound adjective. You're on your own with this one and the rest of them.

Hope that gets you started. Good luck!

Come on girl. You really need to do your own homework. You've got to know how to do this stuff. You should try googling. There are tons of sites to help with this kind of stuff. Ask questions to better your understanding of the rules but don't ask others to do the work for you. It will really get you into trouble. Please.
