Hi i have a house gecko it's great but he got his tail stuck in the lid some how and riped half of it off is it going to grow back? is it suppose to come off? and it was bleeding a little wutt can i doo some one help me please!!!!!

his tail will grow back soon! the reason it came off is because he detached it. he did this as a line of defense. if he hdnt detached it his tail would have gotten broken & it would have hurt! his tail should grow back in a month or 2! dont worry he will be fine!

first relax. yes the tails come of and will wiggle around and bleed a bit but it happens, it will grow back, it may look a bit off for a while but it will grow back. now just try not to let it happen again becauseyou might run in to some difficulties if it gets ripped off twice.

It's ok my House gecko had it's hole tail ripped off once and it grew bk. But just be very careful with it.
