Carr is a good back up QB at best.

Carr's problem is that after 5 years he has yet to shown any leadership ability and still makes rookie mistakes.

The Texas need a take change Qb back there that their offense can have some faith in. One that can utilize what talent they do have a lot better.

If the Texans have the opportunity to upgrade then they should do so. Either way Carr just is not leadership material.

No, the Texans should find a good offensive line and some offensive talents besides andre johnson to help the poor guy out. When you have no RB, OL, TE or another good WR, it's tough to make plays. The Texans, if they are seriously trying to make a good team, should keep Carr and try and build around him like they should have done 6 years ago when they drafted him 1st overall. If they trade him somewhere, Jamarcus Russell is looking good as a mid 1st round choice as a QB.

What? One year after passing on V. Young. LOL>>> That would make this teams leadership look worst than it already is. Houston has many of the same problems as the Browns. The only other problem is that the teams keep fixing their problems and they never really get a chance to settle down as a team. Because the fans want more and they want it fast. And I don't blame them. The Browns have been fixing their problems for 8 years. and we're still not a 500 club.

THere is no way the Texans should get rid of Carr. If they do they are even for stupid then I thought they where. They need to give him some weapons to work with. Yah, he has Andre Johnson, but that is it. They also need to give him an offensive line. In his years as there quarterback he has gotten sack way to much.

Everybody thinks it is David Carr that has to go --how about getting him more support so he will have the time to throw the football You can't be on your back or running for your life and be effective.

Yea he will probable injury under the stress Carr is putting on him, in line with risk some undesirable video games and followers would be screaming for Carr to come back in and take administration of the gang. yet heavily--are you kidding? Eli purely led the Giants to a suprebowl victory and grew to become into SB MVP, and led the gang to 11 right this moment highway wins, and grew to become right into a #a million %.. and don't attempt to evaluate Trent Dilfer to Eli Manning: one grew to become into an growing to be old veteran that knew the sport and grew to become into trusted to no longer lose the sport for his checklist placing protection, the different is youthful, entering his top, and has accomplished each and every of the flaws stated above, plus has been broadly touted by skill of his complete group as a suited chief and purely purely has extra skills (than Dilfer). Plus, it is not comparable to Carr grew to become into even reliable sufficient for the Carolina Panthers to desire back, so why would a worldwide Champion group even think of approximately benching Manning for him? And yea, haha, "Delhomme grew to become into so disturbing he went down early in the season with a season ending harm." i assume he grew to become into so disturbing he purely injured himself for the season.

Well....he hasn't played at the level he should have, but it's not just his fault it's the whole team. The defense hasn't been playing good. The recievers need to step their game up. The offensive line has to play better. The running backs need to play better. So no, they should keep, but the coaches have to make this team work harder.

its not his fault. david carr isnt that bad, his line is. but if they did cut him, they better draft one back after not drafting vince young or reggie bush.
