Look at who you are with. As a general rule, people are attracted to and date those that have looks which reflect their perception of self.
What is ugly to one is attractive to another.

NO, I think that they're more attracted to pretty people In the end they have some way of knowing that they're perfect for them.. they fall in love and live happily ever after.

That's the least intelligent question I've ever read.
Everyone has different taste. Like how pretty girls end up with ugly guys sometimes...that's because he's not ugly in her opinion. And in someone else's opinion, she wasn't so pretty.
But maybe you could tell me: Do stupid people think other stupid people are smart?
