yes, ill. Brother Ford was a Mason. and ill. Brother Ford received the honor due him at the Feast of St. John on December 27th. there were special Toasts and Services in ill. Brother Ford's honor.

As I explained in an earlier post the reason " regular " Masonic Memorial Services were not conducted in public was that in the case of Presidents and higher Government officials generally speaking the State and Government Services take priority over any Fraternal Memorial Services. in this case the Fraternal Memorial Services will be performed by Lodge Brothers but in a more secluded setting.

Masonic Memorial Services must be requested by either the Brother prior to death or the family at the time of death.

A Mason? Yes
A Masonic burial? Can't say for certain although it would seem likely

I watch it on t.v. no talk of being a mason but he is one. Even when you go to grand rapids museum nothing said of being one. Talked of being in boy scouts, playing football nothing of being a mason maybe government don,t want it known.
